We need to lock him up soon to insure that we stay strong in the CB room if someone goes down. Man, if Lattimore is healthy and has his mind right, then we will be formidable in the secondary with our young and older veterans setting the tone.
My concern is if the Saints will continue to try and push a square box into a round hole by making Taylor play the slot with little to no experience again. He's a really good boundary corner and the coaches benched him twice last year. Yes, he bounced back but I don't think it's his natural position. We need a true slot corner in the mold of CJ Gardener, and I was glad that we traded him.
Regardless, CJ set the tone. |
