And to do any of these things she would have to navigate the team's existing Superdome lease which is negotiated many years in advance and risk letting it expire to time a stadium building effort or move to 2030 or whatever. I think the whole reason the state keeps upgrading the Superdome instead of building new is that its easier to embezzle from renovations where costs are harder to compare and more variable, but I don't think the Saints can do anything about it.
One thing the Saints CAN’T do, is put a championship home team in the Super Dome before it gets torn down. But we love Divine Lady B.
