Re: New Orleans Saints Draft Round 1 - 2024
Can't complain about this pick. We had a big hole(s) on our OL and this addressed a very big need. I wouldn't hate if if we snagged another lineman in the second round but I'd prefer adding to our front seven on defense with our second pick. I'd also be very interested in trading down here.
Some notable and interesting picks: Ravens with Verse seems like a match made in heaven. Turner as a Danielle Hunter replacement was a great pick as well. Even with his injuries, Fautanu is a prototypical Steelers OG mauler. Trevor Lawerence will enjoy having Thomas Jr. as an added weapon. And while I'm not a Bo Nix guy especially being taken that high, scheme wise, Captain Checkdown fits Payton's offense very well. It's a reach that could possibly work out. Let's see what kind of QB guru Payton actually is. |

Dennis Allen is hard to listen to. His conversation with Fuaga was full on cringe.
I love this team. Love the pick. They need to find a real dude to do the talking. Let Allen do the scheming and gameplay and have someone else do the talking. |
