When I sit back and take off the rose colored glasses it looks like we found great value in every round of the draft even if they don't all hit. Initially, this looks like a draft to compare to 2017. The difference is that this year we only had two draft picks in the top 150 unlike 2017 when we had several top 100 picks. We still found what look like solid developmental players and we never reached for a player.

In two or three years we'll be grateful for this draft. We should find several starters and role players looking to solidify their role. We filled most of our needs in the draft and again we picked up some UDFA's with potential to round out he roster. We actually filled several holes with quality prospects where we needed depth desperately.

That was a historically great draft because of how the players performed after taking the field. No draft can compare until results are in and such results can never be taken for granted. Its like saying that "taking off the rose colored glasses" Spencer Rattler is the next Tom Brady of 5th Round QB picks and the 2024 Saints are looking like the 2009 Saints.
