this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Unfortunately, living in TX, every week Houston is the AFC game, and Dallas is the NFC game. So I have seen a lot of Carr since he has come in the league. They are killing him behind that line....

Aaron Brooks & Az Hakim for David Carr & Philip Buchanon. You think those aggies in Texas would go for it? :P :P

I'd take there O Line over our line. They might suck at pass blocking but they seem to run block decently. I mean Davis is avg. 4.7yds/car. That's a whole yard more than Deuce was avg. and considering that's what we want to do anyway and our line isn't much better at pass blocking they just hold a lot more so Brooks doesn't get sacked but in the long run it's the same thing.

If we had to trade Brooks for anyone, I would trade him for ATLANTA's backup QB Matt Schaub.

I would trade him to Arizona for Josh McCown but he would suck too because our coaching staff would strangle his talent.

If we had their offensive line... we wouldn't have to suit up to play on Sunday's anymore. Just imagine all those hits on Brooks... now how many times do you think he'll fumble? We have issues if we want Victor Riley back on our frontline.

What are you smoking? Carr was sacked 72 TIMES a few years back, and he has been sacked twice as many times as AB this year, yet he has less INTs and more TDs. More talented team? Give me Stallworth, Horn and Hakim and Henderson over just Andre Johnson. And I love Dom Davis being that he went to LSU, but we have our own star RB in Deuce, and i'd take him over Dom every day. Name one player on the Texans O-line. Wait, i'll give you one, Victor Riley. Nuff said. Get a clue. Brooks is almost DEAD LAST among active starters in passer rating. If you don't know what that means, that means Carr is better than him after being sacked more than twice as many times. Save your AB love for people that haven't watched him look like sh#$ week in and week out for almost 3 years now. Name one player he has a better passer rating than who isn't a rookie, and is a regular starter. I can, Joey Harrington. Which is fitting, since they are about the same player. Both suck.
Carr is not just better than AB, he is just one of the many who are. You have about 30 other starters to blast to make a case for AB. Might as well get started hey? |
