I share the sentiment.
But we have to understand that there's no such thing as a 'safe space' on this forum!

He makes sense. If we start implementing more of the pre-snap motions with Shaheed it should enable him to get open a lot more. With his speed it should help to create more movement and shifting on D too which should open things up for the other passcatchers too.

The Saints were 26th (14.3%) in the league in pre-snap motion. I believe coming into the final five weeks they were last or very close to it. Carmichael finally got his head out of his ass and started running them a lot more frequently down the stretch moving them up in the list. I wouldn't doubt that Dennis Allen had a "come to Jesus" meeting with him to prompt the change.

Note that the top three, Dolphins (68.2%), Rams (44.1%), and Niners (37.7%), all run variants of the Shanahan schemed offense with head coaches all out of that coaching tree.

As we all know, those pre-snap motions give a tell to the QB what the defense is playing, man or zone, by how they respond to the motion. That was missing under Carmichael hamstringing Carr's ability to make quicker decisions.

There is indeed reasons to be excited about the new offense based upon this single improvement alone.
