Over half of these teams are in a much better position than recent years. I'd bet 2-3 make the Super Bowl and at least 1 wins a Lombardi in the next 3-5 years.

You’re right about that.

Jags, Texans & Lions all gave us the business last season, all with top tier QBs.

And the Bengals/Joe Cool took his team to the Super bowl in 2022.

I think Harbaugh (Chargers) gets to the bowl within 3 seasons.

Most of those teams have been in as good or better situations than they are in now, as well, but didn't win one. Only three teams have won their first Super Bowl in the past 20 seasons. The Saints, of course, then Seattle (2014) and finally the Eagles (2018). I think the chances are good that none of those winless teams win it all in the near future. It's extremely difficult to win it all. Both the Chiefs and the Ravens are going to be tough to beat in the AFC for years to come. It'll probably be easier for one of the NFC teams to make it back if they get by the 49er's (and the Saints, of course), but then they will be looking at the same AFC teams standing in the way in the big game.

When ownership continuously makes bad decisions like hiring the wrong GM, hiring the wrong head coach, coordinators, etc. Then the team will obviously struggle. When you have a smart owner he hires the right people to run the business and steps back to the owners box to enjoy wins on Sunday. I've seen the Raiders and Browns struggle for decades because they didn't have the right people scouting, coaching or the right people managing the team. No matter how many first round picks you have if they all get out of the same clown car then your in trouble.

Several folks disagree with me that Gayle Benson is a fine southern lady who represents the team well. David Tepper is her exact opposite. She would never throw a drink on a riled up opponent's fan.
