Derek Carr is two losses away from NFL infamy: Saints star could become first QB to lose to all 32 teams

Derek Carr is on the verge of making NFL history, but it's not the kind he'll be bragging about when his career is over. During the 2024 season, Carr could become the first quarterback to lose to all 32 teams. No QB has ever even lost to 31 different teams and Carr could set that record as soon as Week 1.

Since his rookie year in 2014, Carr has lost to 30 of the NFL's 32 teams. The only two teams Carr has never lost to are the Raiders and Panthers and he'll be facing both of them during the upcoming season.

The Saints QB could break a record that no QB wants to break

Not surprising Carr, based upon longevity in the league and moving from one conference to the other, has quarterbacked a team that has lost to 30 different teams. Reading the article it points out that Russell Wilson has lost to 29 different teams. Archie Manning lost to all teams but one, the Saints, in his career. Joe Ferguson lost to all but the Bills.

What's sad is this writer stole this article idea from an article last August, Derek Carr Could Set a Very Unfortunate NFL Record With Saints This Year and then from these articles, Saints QB Derek Carr could make some unfortunate NFL history next season and Derek Carr will be on the wrong kind of record watch entering the 2024 season, published back in February of this year.

Not to mention this USA Today article from this June, Derek Carr could become the first QB to lose to every team in 2024.

Journalism has degraded tremendously over the past 20 years or so.

What’s even sadder is that it applies to Carr this year, or any year. That’s why the Black And Silver kicked him to the Black And Gold curb.

10 seasons with 1 playoff appearance & 0 wins.

Carr is a bridge QB in N.O.

You have to be borderline ELITE @ QB to have a shot @ another SB or a defense that is tops in takeaways & can score.

Hopefully he improves under Klint 🤷🏼.
