WTF Fox?

I had Fox morning news on this morning. A commercial comes on for the upcoming preseason game. I hear the announcer voiceover:

"the 49ers take on Alvin Kamara and the Saints."

Three sequences flash in the background:

Alvin Kamara running the ball through the line.

A QB throwing the ball.

Olave hauling in a long catch.

Nothing spectacular. But something familiar clicks in my brain about the QB's release of the ball. I've seen that release before. That release is absolutely unforgettable.

They cut in a clip of DREW BREES throwing the ball!!!

Amazing that they could not even be bothered to show a QB that is currently on the squad throwing the ball.

What's up with that?

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.

Par for the course with the state of the dishonest “media” in this country.

At least they are not showcasing the Aaron Brooks backwards pass.

Re: WTF Fox?

Preseason production and they probably had a grunt from graphics pulling up whatever stock footage they could find. Mainstream media has taken a huge nosedive on quality control, especially FOX falling steps behind ABC, CBS, and NBC.

Come to think of it, it could have been AI generated, at least in part, to save money. AI would catch things like a retired former player in a clip. That's what SI.com is doing with their articles since laying off virtually their whole writing staff.
