I am still proud of them
I will tell you this -- even though it counts as a loss this is the best game I have seen them play (as a team) in years. They were passionate -- played well for the most part -- and kept their heads up never quitting. Best game I have eve seen AB play -- ran when he should, let himself get sacked when he should -- an threw darts. The offensive line played fantistic -- opening holes - pass protecting -- and even the D played well. Sorry about the loss Saints -- but good job.[/code]

RE: I am still proud of them
4ss,
I agree. It was a heart-breaker though - instead of 3-3 and ahead in our division, we are 2-4. That hurt, a lot. Our ST was carp today, just for the record. You know who didn't shred us though, and actually looked like kind of a dumbass: Vick. Turnovers, or we'd have won. That last drive to tie it was AWESOME! |

I thought coverage on punt and kickoff was good all game. The refs didn't call the obvious penalty on the blocked field goal, and did call a bs penalty on the field goal at the end of the game. Our return game wasn't good at all, but you can pin this one on the refs, not on the ST.

I took JKool's comment as a reference to Vick rushing the ball, that is how he shreds defenses. I doubt that JKool would refer to Vick's passing game as being anything close to possibly shredding anyone...

Gotta admit. The game was a heartbreaker, but it did give me some hope for another week. Hopefully they can play like they did in this game (minus the turnovers).

I guess the main point is that the team seems to be playing with the heart that I think they lacked for a long time. I saw passion out there that is usually non existent. Did you see the play that AB almost took the recivers head off while congratualting him after a td pass. If they play that hard each and every week I will be happy with watching them regardless of the record.
