Win the NFC South.
Some days I'm at 12 wins, others I'm at 6. Ready to see them in real action.

Carr leaves too much meat on the bone.
He has a Pro Bowl caliber ‘24 - ‘25 season.
Now a MVP type season would be nice but that’s an insane prediction.

Agree with this. Carr has always been conservative. That's why he has one of the lowest interception rates in NFL history. Also why he has one of the best completion percentages. He needs to force it more. Trust himself and his receivers.

Over the last 10 years, Derek Carr has thrown 107 interceptions, which ties him with Matt Stafford for MOST INTS thrown by an NFL QB.

While true, his "INT % Rate" (1.9%) does rank him in the top 6 QBs , that's because he also leads the NFL in "Pass Attempts" at 5,506.

I began to put my personal agenda aside after 2010. So did the Saints.

Re: '24-'25 Saints Bold Predictions

Holker develops into a top tier NFL TE, since our other TEs are oft injured, besides Taysom.
Rico becomes a key contributor on defense.
Newly signed OT Deculus from LSU shines as a RT.
Kendre Miller recovers as an oft injured player forming a formidable dual headed monster with Kamara.
Chase Young makes us forget about WTFoskey !
Saints improvements under Kubiak catapult the Saints into early NFC South division winners as the rest of the NFC South falters and becomes the worst division in football.
A freak unfortunate injury to Carr (not wishing for it) catapults the Bayou Rattler into stardom, a la Tom Brady when he took over for Drew Bledsoe in New England.
Our Irish kicker makes NFL history in making a 68 yard FG to win a game, eclipsing the fraudulent record made at Mile High Stadium.
Saints set an NFL record with 6 special teams TDs on returns.
Honey Badger has his most productive season in his career fueled with the best talent he's played with on defense.
And last but not least, Saints defense becomes elite showcasing a top 5 stingy unit, one worthy of earning a nickname.

This is rather misleading as well. Many starting QBs haven’t even been in the league 10 years. Carr is high on the TD list if you go back that far….

If one goes back 5 more years, Andy Dalton has more TDs.

It also shows he's average. Average is better than bad, but it's not top tier which is what you need when the rest of the team isn't as good (As Brees and Brady showcased, Mahomes too now) .

Sure, but that’s because Dalton played in 11 more games over that 15 years span. Those 11 games allowed him to throw four more touchdowns. Dalton and Carr’s TD percentages are virtually the same. Their INT percentages are not. Thats why I called it misleading.

And I’m certainly not putting Carr in the Mahomes greatness category. But I believe Guido’s point is valid in that he is not an interception machine. In fact, he’s never had a season with more interceptions than touchdowns. Lots of HOF QBs can’t make that same statement.
