BUT, I am optimistic that our overall roster could lead to a winning record. It just doesn't stand out and reek of a top tier roster or organization. Hope springs eternal. I'm praying for big things.
I'm probably most pumped about the LB corps. We've been forced into a 4-2-5 recently because of the inability to cover by the LB. Gay comes in with great coverage skills added to Demario's all round great play and the really solid play we've seen from Werner. We can actually play a 4-3 base for the first time in ages.
I'm also thrilled having the new OC as our last one was glaringly the weakest link in the entire organization. The system he brings is proven and best utilizes virtually all of our players.
