Fair point. But I still maintain that if Dallas would’ve beaten the kittens 47 to 10 and held them to under 200 yards like we did that NFL network would’ve shown more Cowboy highlights than the few plays they showed of the Saints.

Wishful thinking. You know they won't. Win, lose, or draw, all the commentary about the next 3 Saints games will be about the opponent. We could smoke Dallas Sunday and Monday's talk will be how the Cowgirls did not meet their expectations.

The Saints are literally the Washington Generals in the national media world. Their only purpose is to serve as backdrop for the higher profile teams they actually want to talk about.

Saw it today. 3 minute segment on ESPN showing the Saints stomping the Kitties out. Did they talk about the new offense, the productive defense, or the Saints scoring on each of their first 9 drives. Of course not. They talked about how the Carolina organization has done a disservice to Bryce Young by not having their team prepared to play.

You have to just laugh because it's so obvious and pitiful.

Just remember that when the Saints won the SuperBowl in 2009, the next day they wanted to turn the page to next season, the draft, and who was most likely to win in 2010. And the Saints of course were not at the top of that list.

It's a joke.

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.

Re: NFL Bias showing

Or...it could be that Dallas has the greater fan base nationwide, Dallas itself has over 6.5 million fans, while Greater Los Angeles has a population of 12.6 million, while the New Orleans fanbase, while loyal, vocal, and, in general, more sophisticated and intelligent, is only 1.5 million directly...

Maybe unfair, but hard to complain about the NFL going after the lowest common denominator.

If your new source is corporate media, you should expect to be let down.

Re: NFL Bias showing

Ha Ha Ha….Just checked ESPN power rankings. Tampa at home beat Washington by 17 and move up EIGHT spots from 21 to 13. Saints beat Panthers by 37 and move up 2 spots to 23. So messed up. They really are gonna say there are 22 better teams than the Saints after a review of Sunday’s games?

And again it’s not that I want the Saints to be rated higher. I’m just pointing out the blatant media bias that clearly exists.

I'm OK with not being the flavor of the week with the NFL.

Seems like every time the Saints look a little sexy, there's a nasty let down. I like staying under the radar as long as possible!

I hear you Leilung and believe me I’m fine with the team not getting adulation just for the sake of it. Underdog role is great. I’m fine with my pride.

But there is a bigger picture involved. I want to see the bias removed from coverage because it’s the right thing for a league that says it wants to be impartial to do. How can you claim to not have a stake in who wins next week’s game when your own network blatantly promotes one team more than the other?

Also, Things like merchandise sales are impacted by this. When both the Saints and Cowboys win big yet the league talks about the Cowboys 5 to 10 times more than they do the Saints people are influenced by that. I just think it’s dishonest bull****.

Not quite. All merchandise sales are shared equally by all 32 franchises. If Dallas had five times the sales of all other teams combined and the Saints had no sales both franchises would receive an equal share. The profit sharing structure is the backbone to the league's success. No individual franchise is ever in danger of losing money.

Even a portion of ticket sales (34%) are shared between all of the teams.
