But there is a bigger picture involved. I want to see the bias removed from coverage because it’s the right thing for a league that says it wants to be impartial to do. How can you claim to not have a stake in who wins next week’s game when your own network blatantly promotes one team more than the other?

Also, Things like merchandise sales are impacted by this. When both the Saints and Cowboys win big yet the league talks about the Cowboys 5 to 10 times more than they do the Saints people are influenced by that. I just think it’s dishonest bull****.
Won't ever happen. The group of nerds still on staff all come from the same colleges. We're lucky to have Kay Adams and Stan Verrett

Even a portion of ticket sales (34%) are shared between all of the teams.
I was looking beyond the dollars of it. Almost as if it’s a badge of honor or bragging right. It means more than money. Teams and fans like to see their gear displayed. For example, I is a fan of the Saints love walking around outside of Louisiana and having people yell “Who Dat” at me just like I yell it up here when I see the rare Saints gear.

I’m not naïve enough to think it’s going to change. But that fact doesn’t make me want to stop pointing it out. As long as I don’t beat the dead horse anyway and I’m pretty much done grousing about it

Maybe unfair, but hard to complain about the NFL going after the lowest common denominator.

And believe me, I can understand the under the radar approach and I pretty much agree with it. I’m not wanting to go out and shout about my team until they win it all. It’s just a dishonest thing they do and I wish they would admit it. The NFL should say “hey, we as a league promote and pull for Dallas, the Niners, the Rams, and KC”. I’d respect that more than them acting like it’s a equal footing league when we damn well know it’s not. A 10-year-old kid watching these highlights isn’t going to want to see Dallas highlights over Saints highlights. But when a 10-year-old kid sees five times as much Dallas highlights then he does Saints highlights from games in which both teams performed very well then it’s much more likely they are going to grow up a Dallas fan. That type of behavior sickens me from national coverage
In my experience growing up in Alaska I've really only had two teams consistently on tv--The Cowboys and Seahawks. I've only owned one jersey and it was a Tony Dorsett jersey when I was 4 or 5 years old. So Boston has a valid question: "Do they talk about the Rams and Cowboys because people love them, or do people love the Rams and Cowboys because they talk about them so damn much?" And obviously, I understand the markets of these teams. Dallas, Texas and Los Angeles, California have millions of people in their respective markets while New Orleans, Louisiana has thousands.

The answer is the latter.

Re: NFL Bias showing

I’ve got a feeling it will be shown heavily on NFLN game day coverage. Between that and the red zone channel I should be good.
