A rebuild would mean things like trading aging veterans to get extra draft picks, cutting or trading veterans who might have 'a year left in the tank' and taking cap hits now to reduce spending in the long run, and being actually below the next years cap while watching other teams 'make it happen' with decisions we know will come to haunt them in the long run. A rebuild would mean perhaps making a run at Arch Manning not Derek Carr or whoever is next.![]()
If we keep doing business as usual, it will be Carr bringing in Adams this year and Adams bringing in Rodgers when that fails. |
