Why discourage someone from giving a well thought out post?

You know as well as I that there's nothing any of us can do to discourage Bako from posting his novellas. :D

If my math serves me correctly, the loses of the last two games total only 5 points. If having another weapon can open the game up for some additional scoring, a couple FG's make the difference between a team at .500 and an undefeated Saints team. This team is not that far off from being pretty good.

Defense has GOT to end the games stronger though. Like the voice in the old Mortal Combat games...

"FINISH HIM!!!"

Just food for thought.

I think the problem with the defense late in games is that it IS late in the game. They've played their butts off all four games and have made a single mistake that have allowed a large chunk of yardage in each of the last two weeks. If we could have extended a drive or two in those two games the defense may have not been so beat down late. Our handy dandy drive extender (Taysom) was missing in both cases.

Looks like he's going to the J-E-T-S. Rodgers is getting the band back together again.

For a 3rd. That part kind of annoys me.

Glad we didn’t make a move for him. He would’ve been a burden for a few years and probably wouldn’t have made the team much better.

This team has too many issues and a WR on the other side of 30 wouldn’t fix that.

Says a lot about the direction of this season, this roster and the direction of the franchise.

At least, I hope it does.

I won't believe that much until this franchise cuts bait with older players who are approaching the end of their careers. We see it time and time again. There's something to be said for Vet presence, but there's something also to be said about balancing fat contracts vs. value added.

Around here, we don't trade for wide receivers. We just get em all hurt.

If the Raiders are cleaning house, maybe the Saints could get Maxx Crosby for a third as well.

They aren't cleaning house. They got rid of a player that didn't want to be there for whatever they could get. The fact that the Jets agreed to take on his whole salary just shows why they are where they've been for the past 50 years.

The Raiders cleaned house, and cleaned our clocks when they dumped that sack of Carrbage on our curb. You’ll get to see it again just after we abuse Rattler and shuffle him to the back of the deck again. Soon. You’ll see.

Adams is on the downside of his career anyway but maybe if Rodgers can make Lazard look like megatron he will make Adams look ok.
