Injury Report - Week 5 - Saints @ Chiefs
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I don’t understand the AT Perry deal. Wasn’t he showing so real promise? I know he was injured but wtf? It’s not like he was expensive. **** we could’ve let go of someone else to make room on the roster ...

Yeah. Perry was the odd man out of the 53. We just signed a new center, Connor McGovern, off of the Jets practice squad so we had to move someone off the 53 to make room. Perry had been a game day activation so he might as well be on the practice squad for a bit.
