Burn it down.

Giving up almost 70 points and damn near 1k in total yards on defense (rank 32nd in ypg) over a two week span is absolutely insane and unacceptable.

That is next level bad. Dennis Lauscha & the Mickster better wake up.

They've quit on LD Bell. It's not going to get better.

Re: Observations and Overreactions from the Saints vs. Bucs game

The Good
- Special Teams seems to be the strongest and most consistent part of the team
- Kudos for the D in generating turnovers that kept the game close early.
- Surprisingly found a pair and came back after being down 17-0 early and punched the Bucs in the face for a Halftime lead!
- Rattler's mobility created plays and generated scoring opportunities.

The Bad
- This OL, although showing signs of usability, is still pourous on it's middle against superior NT's. Saw it with Philly. Saw the same with the Bucs.
- With the exception of a couple of TE shots over the middle, ZERO receiving presence in the slot. I HATE to say it, but we may have to give MT a call and find out if he's available?
- Predictability. It was mentioned several times during the game how the Saints run on 3rd down more than just about any team in the NFL. Why?
- Can we PLEASE focus on small ball and move the chains before trying make these big splash plays? Honestly. The teams that are most successful are NOT swinging for the fences with any predictable regularity. Maybe because if you can score small on a consistent basis, you win? (The Steelers are NOT a great team. But they are winning ugly, so who cares?)

The UGLY
- This makes the 3rd concussion for Olave that I can recall, so he probably has more. Dude is game, but he is NOT durable. He's our best option at present, but he's a legit WR2 and not a WR1. Time to face that fact. (Also, he should be forced to wear a bonnet on his helmet when he gets cleared, for his own safety!)
- Hate to pull off old scabs, but we can go ALL the way back to the infamous "Beastquake" and "Minneapolis Miracle" to see the painful history of our DB's being too preoccupied with trying the lay on the 'big Lick' or strip the ball, intead of JUST WRAPPING THE GUY UP AND TACKLING! WTAF GUYS! This is so Pop Warner basic that it's idiocy to even talk about! But here we are yet again!
I'm so tired of seeing our guys running into each other, breaking the opposing Receiver or RB for a ridiulously long gain or TD! How many times do we have to see a rerun of the same sad unfunny movie? We come back and even I was more than willing to pin a bunch of this on DA. But at some point it's not the HC and his staff. It's not just just the schemes. It's the mindset of the D and their second half let down mentality.

I could go on, but at this point all I can see is there is a bunch of talent with no sharp focus. Chemistry makes up for tons if talent is lacking. But if they can't play complimentary team ball, it won't amount to Wins. Just more of the same disapointing ish on Sunday. Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

Time for change.

I want to see more of Rattler. Short week. Tough defense. Bad blood.

All the measuring sticks.

Good effort this week kid in an otherwise abominable game. Let's see what you can do.

Kamara looked like he didn't want to be there.

Same on defense with exception of Alontae Taylor. The effort is terrible and they look the same as Kamara, like they do not care to be there.

Having someone like McCoy there to call out protections would help out a rookie QB immensely, instead of a guy who was watching games from his couch two weeks ago.

Alvin is getting worn out with the way he's being used. He's not an every down RB. Plus, his running strength is NOT between the tackles unless he's getting holes big enough to release him to the next tier of the D.

Taylor brings great energy. But he seems a little undisciplined with respect to sticking his coverage close and making the tackles consistently in space.

Well this thread is misleading…no overreactions, just a lot of solid observations.
The Bucs are a good team that’s well coached and well…we are what our record says we are
