Re: So... who you got as next Saints HC ?
Historically, high renown coaches have been sh1tshows here haven’t they?
However, I do believe he would be a good fit. Bill is a coach for a team where the owners and upper management don’t know **** about football and let him do as he pleases. Lure him with beignets and gift wrapped hoodies? We also do better with coaches that do not like interviews or the press… +2 |

I like Glenn too.
Same goes for Ben Johnson. A young innovator. Aaron AND Dan Campbell were in the building for "interviews' but the Saints chose continuity instead . Detroit also drafted well and have studs in key positions. |

What viable options are out there right now? Anyone from BCS who looks promising?

If the Ravens or Steelers are an early exit from the playoffs I could see a scenario where John Harbaugh or Mike Tomlin is let go. I think Lamar Jackson is the problem in Baltimore, but Harbaugh is stuck with Jackson because he racks up regular season stats. Historically no coach has ever won it al with two teams though so the best bet is one who almost won it all in their first stop. If Kyle Shannahan ever got fired he could qualify. Perhaps Matt LaFleur too.
If we go with a rookie coach I prefer and offensive minded one with a strong personality. Of we rely on OC for offense we just lose them if they do well. If we get another bland x and os type who doesnt inspire players we could end up back where we are. |

Short answer, sad to say: Dennis Allen.
