Man it’s gonna be weird watching my beloved Sean Payton on fire in the Dome tomorrow night…

Not expecting boo birds. The vast majority of the crowd is intelligent enough to know the difference between a bad team and one that is decimated by injury. I didn't hear any at all in the TB games on Sunday.

The Bucs beat us 51 - 27 on Sunday. The dead silence that you heard is scarier than “boo” by a long shot.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Karen Waldrup with the National Anthem. She's a country singer from Mandeville that I have been following for years now. Great voice. In fact, she was one of the finalists on The Voice this past season.

Re: Week Seven: Broncos @ Saints
I think we have to give her a look at slot receiver with the injuries we are facing.
I could see this game as something like 23-10 Broncos. I think the injuries at WR, oline, and having a backup QB will severely limit our offense. Our defense on the other hand could bounce back if they are motivated, and the Broncos have a weak offense. In their best game the Broncos beat the Bucs 26-7. In their highest scoring game they beat the Raiders 34-18, and that Raiders offense certainly featured a better WR, TE, and oline than the Saints will in this game. I don't think it will be easy for us to score with no receivers, no oline, and a backup QB, and our offense will give the Broncos scoring opportunities, but still our defense will slow them unless DA has completely lost the locker room. I dont think it is overly pessimistic to say we could lose this game on the road by a smaller margin than the team that just put up 50 on us lost the same game by at home. 23-10 is being conservative. 51-0 would be negative. |
