.286… Y’all good?

Unfortunately I think it will be have to be the fans to put pressure on the organization to make change. Otherwise they same people will be in position of power and no progress will be made.

Embarassing.

Mickey Loomis needs to lose that EGO & start making changes, then he needs to step aside. He's been bad at GM anyway.

You can't even fully evaluate the QB position because of so much trash around him.

Like I said in another post, staying away from dome is how we vote. And we vote No to DA

Doesn't seem like any moves were made today. We can't just advise Loomis to fire Dennis Allen. We also need to somehow convince him it was his idea.

Inception style lol

But we'd just let Loomis and DA fall into the very bottom void instead.

I’m good. Keep losing. I want Cam Ward.

40% of the team is injured. 7 starters on offense. 2 undrafted rookies starting on offense. I’m ok with where we are with all the injuries

Re: .286… Y’all good?

Here's one thing we need to consider - we are LONG overdue for a bad season.

Since the year 2000, we've only had 1 season where we finished in the 0-6 win range. That was of course the 2005 Katrina season. The only other team in the NFL to have just 1 season in the 0-6 win range since 2000 is the Steelers (2003). And as we know, the Steelers are a model franchise that everyone in the NFL uses as a measuring stick.

One of the false narratives that has transpired over time is that the Saints were pathetic until Sean and Drew came in 2006. This isn't true, as the Haslett era was the one that got the franchise on track (with our first ever playoff win). While Haslett had his issues, he was a superior head coach to Dennis Allen by way of optics, statistics and every other conceivable way. If DA was our 2005 coach, we almost certainly finish that season 0-16 instead of 3-13.

I say all this to say that if we finish the season with 2-5 wins, maybe even in last place below the Panthers, it's not a death sentence. It's very normal in the NFL. Look at the Rams, who went from 12-5 and a Super Bowl win to 5-12 the next year. The Chiefs are currently the top dog, but they had a horrific 2-14 season before Reid was hired. They also had a nasty stretch in 2007-2009 where they had a combined 8 wins in 3 seasons.

It could be time for the Saints to get bent over and wrecked for a season or two. It's sucks but there's no shame in it. It's normal for the NFL.

Oh, I’ve been considering that this long overdue bad season would come. And here it is.
