Not sure what they do after that though. |

It all start with Loomis. Look at your cap, look at how bad that dude manages it. Cam Jordan is a gazillion years old and look at what he is earning.
If you were smart you'd trade as many of your older talent as possible, stock as many picks as possible, and start new. Everything begins and ends with your oline and dline. |

But 2024 was not a bad offseason for Loomis. He totally changed his approach to the cap and didnt make dumb trades. If Mickey Loomis can take that 1 year chip and make it a 5 year chip and truly change his ways, he might not be the problem going forward. He is not a football guy, and if he brings in football guys while taking a more disciplines approach to spending and trades like he has done this year, we may be fine. I agree that it would be smart to trade as much older talent as possible and stock as many picks as possible. But many of our older talent are not worth any draft picks because their salaries are more than their production is worth. Also cutting or trading too many of them at once would trigger dead cap hits that would put us over the cap. It was financially impossible to clean house last offseason but we could do it this offseason mostly. We do have some players who could have some trade value now, especially if we ate some of their salary, like possibly Kamara, Lattimore, Davis, Mathieu, maybe Hill, but for the most part only as 1 year rentals if we at part of their salary because nobody wants to pay most of their 2025 scheduled salaries, so it would be late picks. Meanwhile there are many rosie fans who were convinced that even at 2-3 or 2-4 we were super bowl bound when McCoy came back and would have called for Loomis's head for trading Kamara or Lattimore, ignoring the finances and age, and saying you never trade your best whatever ever. We had to lose to make a trade tenable to more fans and now we are 2-5 and more may understand. A few weeks ago many were saying 'pay da man' to a 30-ish RB already scheduled to make $24 million who wanted more years of guarantees into his 30's. We will see if we trade anyone for picks. I hope we do. I can see how it would have angered Loomis's base to trade anyone before but now that we are 2-5 I have hope. Maybe we could trade Kamara to the Cowboys or Broncos. Maybe a team could use Lattimore. We cannot possibly keep paying Taysom Hill $10 million a year when he is 35 to be the guy who is a hero one game by breaking his ribs and missing the next 3 with his age and style of play, so maybe we can get a pick for him as a 1 year rental since I think we already restructured his salary to $1 million. Maybe we could even trade Olave to the Chiefs since his concussion dont bode well for the longest career and when we are back to competing again, he may be in line for a risky contract, making a pick we could draft a young receiver with a better bet. |

The head coach sucks on every level! The defensive coordinator should have been fired at halftime! The season is lost and I think they don’t really care. We’ll probably win a few more games against the lowlifes of the league, wait a minute, that’s us! 😂💩 I’m gettin a sense that they don’t care because they’re still making that money without winning and don’t give a 💩 about the fans!
