I sincerely hope you all were saying this exact same thing in weeks 1 and 2. Everyone criticized DA for not being animated. He finally does it after Dallas and now he should be fired. Sean had several bad seasons in a row with Drew Brees.

Yeah, Dennis Allen needs at least two or three more years to develop Derek Carr, and allow the Defense to continue to quit on him, before we possibly win our pathetic division. We need to be patient.

Everyday that Loomis allows Dennis Allen to "lead" this team, further erodes the culture inside the Saints facility & perception of the team outside.

If this was a company, does anyone believe the board would allow a crappy CEO just remain because there are debts to pay?

The man should have been relieved of his dutes at the end of 2023 season.

Those seasons came after the league suspended Payton and multiple starters in 2012 and took away draft picks from the team. Despite this, Payton was given some grace having won the Superbowl three years prior to the Bountygate hoax.

It is tough to build depth on a roster when you continually trade up for players that don't work out.

This was a big criticism of Sean. Olave was a great pick under DA. Penning not so much. Bresee isn’t a bust but needs to improve. Fuaga is doing well.

We need a better head coach. We’ve done the new coach thing plenty with terrible results. At the end of Sean’s tenure the defense led the team. We let too many of those players go and the older ones are getting too old for a redo. A rebuild can be highly effective if smart choices are made. Otherwise it will be Groundhog Day. Is the consensus that DA should go all together or rather move back to D coordinator like Spagnuolo?

DA isn’t going to take a demotion to DC on this team while someone else takes over as HC.

So it doesn’t really matter. If DA goes, he’ll be a DC somewhere else I’m sure. But he’s obviously not cut out for the HC duties.

That’s a Loomis problem.

Popping gum at a year end press conference after not making the post season (we are on year 4), instead of firing folks who are failing at their jobs.

Jeff Ireland needs to geaux as well. One solid draft, but far too many misses over the last 4 years. OL, DL, DE have been weak.

Now you see the result on Sundays :rolleyes:.

Loomis saved Kamara from the sinking ship by giving him a pile of cash to buy a super yacht. On PFF I believe Kamara is the #26 RB in the league. Perhaps some might rank him #10, but at his age further decline is likely. And Loomis paid him as the #2 RB in the NFL.

In all likelihood this is a 1 year $20 million extension because its unlikely thay Kamara is worth even $5m in 2026 at 31yo with the beating he is taking now.
