Re: Saints Season
I don't ever want to lose a game. Ever! However, I am willing to lose games if it means cleaning house and bringing in head coach who actually understands how to win.

Re: Saints Season
I WANT us to win out because that means another Superbowl title.
Reality though??? Roger Goodell will make sure we finish between 6-9 wins with a little surge near the end of the season to keep the fans engaged. SCREW HIM. I'm not buying his screwjob or his merch. It'll also means another mid 1st draft pick that won't make a big difference on the team and another year plus of past-their-prime players at a premium and the Dennis Allen Ah Shucks We Sucks show... |

Re: Saints Season
I want us to TRY to win out. That way we learn POSSIBLY more about individual players, their capacity to play, their mentality for the game.
It is impossible to WANT a defeat, at any time. I know /assume there could be consequences if we lose out, but it AINT gonna be what I think many are hoping. The only benefit is to get decent draft picks. |

And now that the NFL is constantly peddling gambling sites you know that the league is shadier than ever and it will only get worse. |

Re: Saints Season
The minute you start wanting your (supposed) team to lose you have ceased being a fan. You may still think you are a fan, but you are lying to yourself. Actively hoping your (supposed) team loses any individual game is contrary to fandom. It even gets worse if you want your (supposed) team to lose to somehow "prove you are right." To actively celebrate the team's loss is the lowest attitude and proves beyond a shadow of a doubt you truly do not care about your (supposed) team.
My opinion on the subject. |
