Sign me up for a top player vs a meaningless "win" + ruin a draft pick. We need a legit #1 WR & another RB. Olave is a solid 2, but he's no # true 1 & I'm concerned about the concussions. Relying on TCU's (Miller) health is a huge gamble as well. I remember we were 4th and short around mid field against the Chargers yet we punt?! Mindset. Saints are borderline 1a, 1b the WORST team in the league. We lack talent & our best players are OLD. |

Re: Saints Season
I'm going to say that I think every one of us on this board ultimately wants this team to be successful and fun to watch.
Some are better at maintaining the optimism, while others (like me) are rather jaded after watching this team lose in mind-numbingly stupid ways and watching them keep inept players and coaches far too long. All the while, the fans are told that the team is a hair from excellence. DECADES of this... I guess I say all this to say there's no need to be frustrated with fellow board members - we all want the same end result, we just have different thoughts on how to get there. Not like anyone is listening to us anyway. As long as seats are in the seats at the Dome, the product is deemed "successful enough". Ownership has to see the fans will not accept this - until then this is the status quo. |

The team gave up a few weeks ago. And the coaches let them. That punt you speak of is proof that DA has no fight in him and he doesn’t believe in his own team. They’re pathetic. I started doing other **** on Sundays and just check in on them here and there. I won’t let this ****ty team determine my Sunday and I’ve gone numb to their ****ty play. |

Re: Saints Season
The players that have been left standing after injuries are indeed to a degree softer, older, and/or weaker. That's why they weren't starters in the first place.
