I really hope they do.

If we win this game, Loomis is such an arrogant ******* that he'll use that as a "see, fans, we can win" type argument.

So, let me get this straight, diz. You are going to be watching the game actively pulling for the Panthers to score 50 points or more against our own team. Is that correct?

There's no way in hell that I could ever want my Saints to lose any game. I'm sorry, but if that's what you honestly want to happen it is completely outside of my ability to understand as a truly devoted fan.

I'm hoping that was simply hyperbole egged on by the sinner guy.

It will always be something with Mickey. He moves goalposts instead of admitting or addressing the missteps of the organization. If we get trounced by the Panthers and other teams he'll change his tone to "oh, 2024 was just our down year. Look at 2005 when we had a down year and made a deep playoff run in 2006. You've got to look past the results. Tom Landry and Bill Walsh had bad seasons too."

No negative outcome will make Mickey "wise up". If he gloats and gaslights us after a win then we have to filter out his BS. It is what it is. He's not rational.

I just hope to see some of our younger players - KoolAid, Bresee, Howden, Holker - emerge and play great. Because we are in a pseudo-rebuild, even if telling Mickey this makes him snarl and smack his gum at you.

I'm being 100% honest. I would love for the Panthers to demolish this team.

Rooting for this team to win just keeps Mickey Loomis and Dennis Allen around longer, when they've proven they cannot compete against teams with winning records. Hell, they struggle against .500 teams.

Rooting for them to win meaningless games just keeps this team below mediocrity.

Like it or not, the only way this team can get back to winning ways, is with those 2 morons out the door. And the only way thats possible is if we continue losing

I want the Saints to succeed, but I'm switched on enough that I know that won't happen with the wonder twins in charge, take the pain now and get rid, for the gain in future.

It’s a sad day when the Saints faithful feel like the only way to get better is to lose.

I don’t blame you one bit.

Y'all can wish what you wish, I suppose. But I can never, ever root against my Saints and never have once in the 926 games the Saints have played since I became a fan in 1967.

While losing might prompt the expulsion of Dennis Allen, Mickey Loomis is going nowhere until he decides to retire or leave on his own for some other reason. TheOak has shared those reasons to which I agree. I will continue to be in the stands cheering my ass off or at home doing the same for away games regardless of who's coaching for years to come.
