On to the Falcons.

Aren’t you due for another cruise that’s out of cell phone range?

People use to think what Loomis was doing with the cap was so special.

All this guy did was kick the can and gave the HC the personnel power. HC saw the writing in the wall with an aging roster, cap problems, and decided to retire because he was tired. Afterwards he decided re-create the same problem and keep the same system in place. Both of those turds screwed us.

While it seemed the thing to do for us with Saints goggles on, we're seeing now more than ever the consequences of such a disastrous by today's standards set of decisions. Ultimately, it's up to the GM, then the owner with a little extra push, to be able to recognize through the fog the right course to take a franchise through. It seemed that Jeff Ireland was a bit of saving grace in terms of talent evaluations... maybe he is, maybe he's not so much; a simple look back at our draft and UDFA results. Then again, the HC has a say so in who is kept and who is not retained. And there we fall back yet again on upper leadership. Until the latter is fixed, I fear we'll be in the very same quagmire, until upper leadership has their very own "Come To Jesus Moment". It's up to us to motivate them. You know what to do, WhoDats !

I feel deceived and now I've checked out. Sunday was the first time I didn't watch or listen to a Saints game in decades, maybe ever.
