Haslett made the playoffs once.

“We have to look past the results” I thought? 7 consecutive L’s.

Loomis needs to step down too.

Garbage product.

We won't be able to be sellers. Almost all of our major contracts have dead-money nuclear fallout.

And what's funny is, I've never not had wifi on any trip I've ever been on. Even the one cruise I have been on. But he always says, "Oh I was off on a cruise and I just now got back with service."

I can't blame Mickey Loomis for being so loyal to Dennis Allen. When Loomis was growing up his mom brought home a different guy every night, and Loomis swore he would never be like that, so now he is stand by your man, ride or die, with Dennis Allen. When he says that fans need to learn to ignore what is going on right in front of them, he is only speaking of the adaptations he had to make as a child.

This is not entirely accurate with respect to our actual options. To ever get out of this cap mess we have to eat the dead cap and cut people. A trade works the same way as a cut. We will have to restructure some players but if we designate Carr and Ram our post-June-1 cuts, we still need to cut some other players, and trading them now affects the cap not much differently than cutting them in March. Either way the dead cap hits for 2025. We can save like $50m cap by designating Carr and Ram Post-June-1 cuts in March.

None of our linebackers would fetch anything higher than a 5th or 6th. We gotta release who we can release and just take the L’s. Bring in a new head coach and let him try to implement his philosophy. Again, Ward or Sanders. That’s your top 2 QB’s in 2025.
Dead on accurate.

I would trade Lattimore for a pick swap to move up from the 7th round to the 6th, if thats all we can get. It save a few hundred thousand off the cap and forces us to get younger and not sink more money into an aging vet next year.

Re: Saints vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

Back to this debacle for a minute.

4th & 4, you call a long pass to Wilson?! Wait, wut?

Saban said it best … “when the game is on the line, I don’t call plays, I call on players”. We had AK, Taysom etc but Carr throws to Cedric?

Not sure what Kubiak was thinking there.
