I think that part of the problem is that we are running an offense built for big physical receivers like Samuel, Aiyuk, Nacau, and Kupp, as we are running it with small finesse receivers like Olave and Shaheed. It just doesnt work. But we are stuck because the Loomis-Cuervo method of cap management does not allow any flexibility to get the players that suit a new coach or system. If Olave has any chance to continue his career it is with a traditional shotgun pocket passing offense. |
