No reason we can't fire the medical staff in season too.

Doesn't the medical staff come into play after a player is injured? Not much they can do to prevent injuries. It's a different story, however, when it comes to treatment. That is definitely on them.

Strength and conditioning too. All the above come into play. While some athletes are more predisposed than others with injuries, there is something to be said about proper preparation, nutrition, and conditioning (ask Tom Brady). And really as the game become softer, in other words, more like flag football, we ought to be seeing a trend toward fewer injuries. Except of course when a QB throws a WR into a risky catching situation rather than one whereby YACs can be had.
