The 8-5 Commanders face our 5-8 Saints.
A great example of what seems to be two franchises headed in opposite directions. Daniels and Lattimore return to Louisiana to face a depleted Saints team with an interim coach. I hope we pull the upset but if not we're settling in to the likelihood of a top 10 draft pick. Last edited by Halo; 12-15-2024 at 12:00 PM.. |

Re: Commanders at Saints Gameday Thread
I feel dirty wanting defeat but I'm hoping that the Saints get some studs out of next year's draft even if that means trading down in some instances and gaining draft capital in the process. Draft picks higher in each round might be beneficial for the Saints.

Re: Commanders at Saints Gameday Thread
Understandable Ice. It’s hard for me to hope for defeat. The Saints have always been underdogs. Except for a few great years. It’s one of the things that keeps me tuned in and excited.
The realist in me says this is a game we get absolutely destroyed in. The excited part of me is hoping that somehow the Saints find their version of Brock Purdy in Haener. Lol. I know I know. That sounds ridiculous. And it is! But maybe he plays well even with **** for WRs and we pull off an upset. Anyway, reality will set in quickly and either there Saints defense is dominant and AK goes wild or we get pummeled. Yikes. |

Holding call killed that series but Haener is gonna be painful to watch. I don’t care about all the hype I was hearing this week.
