Saints will close out the season with 3 wins to excite the romantic saint fan and fulfill their Christmas dreams of a winning team for next year, but to the detriment of the Saints organization, the 3 victorious games will be the demise of the need to immediately focus on rebuilding this once renown powerhouse, merely four years or so prior, to the same old same old of ....ahhh maybe next year.....

I NEVER want the Saints to lose, but that being said, a 3 game winning streak is counterproductive in the long term.

It might be just enough to keep an interim coach and fragile QB in place for next year.


Doesn't really matter what we want anyway - no way they beat GB and TB, both of whom are fighting for the playoffs/seeding.

If the team goes 3-0
Loomis will decide he's still right and the roster just needs tweeking and extension and void years to keep the band together for the 6th straight year

The team will not go 3-0 unless Derek Carr returns immediately. If Carr returns immediately it could be possible to go 3-0 because we are basically eliminated from playoff contention and Carr is one of the best QBs in the history of the NFL when it doesn't count.
