Vrabel's TN HC record:

2018 9-7
2019 9-7 (Playoffs 2-1. Lost to KC in AFC Championship Game.)
2020 11-5 (Playoffs 0-1. Lost to BAL in AFC Wild Card Game.)
2021 12-5 (Playoffs 0-1. Lost to CIN in AFC Divisional Playoff Game)
2020 7-12
2021 6-11

He was a pretty good Defensive mind, but his Offenses were far from scary. Keep in mind that his current position is Coaching and Personnel consultant with the Browns! So, with the Saints' Front Office at least as dysfunctional as the Titans', is this the guy to reset the team?

Do we need an Offensive mind or continue sign another Defensive minded HC. Or do we go off the menu and try a fresh set of eyes. IE. Ben Johnson, Brian Flores, Joe Brady, Kellen Moore, or my favorite Aaron Glenn. And does it even really matter with the same front office jacking up the cap and missing on pre-draft talent evaluations?

Thoughts.

time for new blood and new attitude....any pre-existing NFL coaches looking for work or being released, are for a reason... more than likely, that they cannot produce what is expected....

Gruden: 117 - 112 A .511 Career Record
Vrabel: 54 - 45 A .545 Career Record

Why all the interest in them?

Anybody but a re-tread. But again, it won't mean squat if the same front office is pulling all of the strings!

They're also looking at Joe Brady from the Bills.

How can you label Glenn as a has been? Don’t think a position coach should be labeled a has been, since he’s never had the keys to any car. And Sanders and his carnival? Hard pass. He has less experience coaching at the pro level than Glenn. His novelty will be over soon.

I’m with SmashMouth. Forget the “offensive minded guys” let’s go hard nosed, tough and disciplined route with Flores. He was just beginning to build something when Miami showed him the door for that whack job they have now. This guy had coached under BB and MT so should have learned a few things in those stints. Question is what type of offense was he running in Miami and who was his OC at the time?
