Load up on that defensive front & oline.

In case you haven’t noticed, the offensive depth is poor in New Orleans.

Saints have far too many other needs.

So many needs I'd be ok with just about anyone at #9

He's answering questions as if the deal is final without exactly saying it's final.

Both are legends & neither sniffed a championship.

Everyone saying yes, we should draft him would be screaming next year about our lack of quality depth on the OL/DL (again).

RB is the easiest (if not one of the easiest) position in football to find a suitable starting-caliber player. Drafting Jeanty that high would set the Saints back even further.

Aside from all of that, Jeanty has a lot of mileage on him (as already pointed out), and he also doesn't seem to do much for you in the passing game.

Hard PASS.

Draft is deep for RB and DL.

Drafting at 9 we're likely to land one of these:

Tetairoa McMillan
Mason Graham
Will Campbell
Kelvin Banks Jr.

Hard PASS.

You pair him with AK and limit his carries. Line depth in this draft is insane. You can find starting caliber tackle and guards in the 3/4. Quality d line all the way out in the 6th. You don’t pass up in a generational talent because you think he carried too much. 15 years ago 300 carries was typical.

I would bet he's already assembled a lot of his staff. Seeing many Saints assistants taking gigs elsewhere . Fresh eyes will be a breath of fresh air for the Saints.

Yeah. Been hearing his definitely been working on staff. As for those "current" Saints assistants, their days were numbered as soon as the turnover at the top took place.
