Re: Turning Attention to the Draft
The saints met with several prospects ao far, but two later round players that grabbed my attention that they met with are Eugene Asante- LB Auburn and Pat Bryant- WR Illinois. Bryant has really good hands(only 1.8% drop rate last season) and Asante is a very fast player and a great tackler. These two look like some serious ballers and could possibly contribute quickly.

Re: Turning Attention to the Draft
This guy was looking at the betting odds of Cam Ward going to different teams. Saints went from 200 to 1 a few days ago, to 100 to 1 the next day, and then down to 26 to 1 a day or two later. Vegas knows something.

They said most teams already have decided who they want without the need for any "visit". Questioning about other players the visitors have faced is reportedly very common. Some visits are simply to throw off the sense of interest to other franchises, giving the false impression that the team is seriously considering a player they have no desire in drafting whatsoever. It was pretty interesting in that you come away thinking there is really nothing you can surmise as a fan by the fact of who has made team visits. |

Andrew Armstrong - WR
Arkansas Big guy @ 6’4, played against top tier SEC talent weekly. Over 1100 receiving yards in 2024. X receiver, possession type (doesn’t drop many), chain mover & capable blocker. Not really talked about a lot. Could be a sleeper pick. Projects as a Day 3 selection. |

Re: Turning Attention to the Draft
FWIW, LSU’s Pro Day was on yesterday (3/26).
Hope Jeff Ireland & co took a final, quick look at TE Mason Taylor. IMO, he checks a lot of boxes & will translate well to the NFL. There is a ton of talent in Baton Rouge … |
