Re: Turning Attention to the Draft

Jalen Milroe - QB
Alabama

Overview
Milroe is an explosive athlete who is very capable outside the pocket, but he lacks accuracy, touch and decision-making when he’s inside the pocket. A lack of anticipation and timing leads to interceptions and contested throws to intermediate areas of the field.

Strengths
- Unflinching when he delivers throws in the face of imminent contact.
- Has NFL arm strength, delivering drive throws with velocity.
- Ball comes out in a split second if he needs it to.
- Accuracy improves when he minds his weight transfer.
- 2023 tape shows a more consistent deep-ball passer.

Weaknesses
- Threw five touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 2024 SEC play.
- Hurried and lacking rhythm when working from the pocket.
- Processing and decision-making are troubling at times.

NFL comparison - Kordell Stewart & Taysom Hill

I’m hoping we pass on a qb unless dart falls to round 2

Re: Turning Attention to the Draft

Armand Membou - OT
Missou

At pick nine, the Saints take Armand Membou, who could be both a guard and a tackle at the NFL level. This is a sound selection for the Saints, and Membou could be an instant hit at the NFL. With how weak the NFC South is, I guess New Orleans could realistically compete for the division crown in the 2025 NFL Season. -Lou Scataglia

Strengths
- Impeccable body control and poise in his pass sets.
- Keeps weight inside on kick-slides with easy redirect versus counters.
- Protects with independent hands and a fluid mirror.
- Twitchy hands cinch up rushers who get too close.
- Athletic and agile to stay connected to rushers around the arc.
- Sifts through moving bodies with good clarity to find his man.

This is a safe pick I would be okay with. I’d rather trade back a little but this is okay. No qb or wr is worth a top 10 pick. DT is very deep. This is a good pick

Re: Turning Attention to the Draft

Cleveland at 33
NYG at 34

Can easily see one of these trading up to beat the other to the punch for QB

My prediction is that the Giants jump first.
