When he speaks later on in the week I'm fully expecting the season to be blamed on Injuries and him to focus on tne first two weeks and how the team isn't as far away as everyone says.

He will keep Carr and continue to kick the can down the road, maybe there will be a couple of sacrificial lambs cut and fired.

The coach will be the one that agrees to work under these conditions. Especially as the best coaches available won't touch the job. It's the worst job on the market. Very little young talent to work with, the best players are injury prone. No haul of draft picks and very little cap space to spend for another year or two by which time you may well have lost the job.

I'd like to see a coach that wants to play quite a simple offensive scheme. I'd be trying to find a big old fashioned back to pair with Kamara and spend the next two years building up the trenches. Ground teams into the dirt on offense. Especially now as so many teams play with smaller and hybrid LB, if you have the ball and control the clock they cant score. And stop the run on defense.

Oh and draft players who can tackle, sick to death of seeing arm and missed tackles
All of these reasons point to the fact that it's time for Loomis to move on. We all thank him for his service to the organization and the city. But it's time to bring someone in who will make the tough decisions to reset the team pointing towards eventual success.
