Neugey for Saints Head Coach

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; "Becoming a burden" from management doesn't sound like a company you wanted to work for anyway. Curious, what exactly do you specialize in? For how long?...

I've been in software development for almost 30 years.

It's funny that the whole coaching cycle is almost done except the Saints. The NFL moves faster the real world. But the bills come in at the same rate for everyone.

Not sure if I'm going to get unemployment or not. My dishonest former employer isn't answering any of the state office's calls or messages. It's possible my case will be denied and I have to go into appeals.

Every day is strenuous.

Elon's companies aren't a good fit. Most of them require living in California which is a non-starter for me (staying away from NYC, Cali and Boston for cost reasons). And the people that are hiring for Elon are looking for young wunderkind unicorns, not some 50+ year old senior engineer from the midwest.

I don't think he cares, if you can code with the best of them. Yeah, you may have to move. There are some opportunities in Memphis also.

Re: Neugey for Saints Head Coach

I had a few final interviews this week, and another one on Monday. I think I did well with them. I just don't know if I'm their Kellen Moore or their Mike Kafka. That's the worst part.

Ha!

You're YOU. And the company looking for that will win.

Looking at the DOGE team, your assessment is spot on. Those kids are something else tough, I have to admit.

Will send a few prayers your way. God always has a plan, whether we know it or not.

Re: Neugey for Saints Head Coach

Well, my shot at the Saints HC position is over.

The good news is I just received a job offer this morning. The position is in Nashville. Pretty good odds I'll accept it tomorrow. Any WhoDats out in Nashville or thoughts about the city? Maybe I can exert some influence on the Titans #1 overall pick LOL!

Congrats! My younger son, also a Saints fan, lives in Clarksville, but performs in Nashville several days a week! You need to check out his shows and talk some Saints. Do you some honky-tonking! He can also give you insight on the city himself.
