Re: What's a "Brotherly Shove" ?
This is a rugby concept implemented by the NFL for excitement. In rugby we call it a Maul. It's not really that dangerous considering rugby and football are full contact sports. Football players aren't using proper technique at the break down. It look sloppy and I can see where they could get injured.

Re: What's a "Brotherly Shove" ?
If we are going to ban things that Philly does successfully, lets ban trading back in the draft. Then the Saints will be unable to trade up in the draft. We would have to ban it because otherwise we can't stop the Eagles from doing it to the Saints.
As for injuries, it might may more sense to ban hurdles even if they aren't at the line of scrimmage or using another player to push up. Derek Carr tried to hurdle a giants defender and sustained two injuries on the same play. Show me one tush push where the QB sustained two injuries on the same play, went to concussion protocol, broke a bone, and missed the rest of the season. |

Again, nice guy and all, but I think Carr could get injured on a QB kneel.
