It's all based upon lost free agents versus signed free agents. It's not subjective. None are really "rewarded". More precisely they are mandated.
Dallas' supposedly going "all in" as Jeruh Jones put it meant letting letting several free agents go and signing virtually no one. That's why they ended up with so many compensatory picks this time around. |

We currently stand to get a 4th and 7th next year, losing Adebo, MVS, and Harris and adding Reid. I thought Reid would cancel out Adebo but apparently he cancels out MVS. I have a feeling that signing 32yo injury prone Cooper Kupp for over $10 million would cancel out that 4th, if it wasn't stupid enough already.
