Why can't the Saints sign Asante Samuel Junior?

Asante has been dealing with recurring nerve/neck & shoulder issues and caused him to miss 12 games in 2024.

If I were the Saints, I may consider other options at the CB position.

I won’t rule out a CB selection within the first two rounds of the draft either.
