DRAFT 2025 LIVE THREAD

I wanted Jalon Walker or a trade back. I would've been OK with Sanders. I don't really like this pick. I know the O line needs work, but I don't think Banks was worth #9. Had Will Campbell fallen, yeah absolutely take him. This just feels...hollow.

Oh well, I'm on to tomorrow and waiting to see how they f*** those picks up

Me too, but Saints have too many holes to fill. We still got the best OT in the draft

I disagree. Banks was considered the top OL until the last few weeks. Sometimes analysis paralysis takes over and people just need **** to write about. He's a stud, and paired with Fuaga, we have two anchors. Only issue is we need help in the interior as well. Might be easier to find a guard in free agency than a tackle

If you look at the mocks during the season Banks was the top OT

In 2024, he was named First Team All-SEC and won the Jacobs Blocking Trophy and the Lombardi Award, as the best lineman in college football that year. Banks was also awarded the Outland Trophy, which is awarded to the best interior lineman in college football.

No issue with this pick at all, especially if it means i don't need to see Trevor Penning again. I'll be just as happy if they take a LG in the 2/3rd round

What a boring pick. I'd be flipping tables if it was Dennis Allen's pick but I'll trust the process with the new regime.
I've seen a few X posts saying that Banks will likely be LG. That'd be odd.

The only reason you do that though will be if Penning at RT and Banks at LG is better than Banks at RT and Radunz at LG

I'd play Banks at LT and flip Fuaga to the RT spot. Kick Penning to LG and see if he can be a mauler and have a Mekhi Becton season.

This will piss me off. A player a the 9th pick on the OL has to be a plug and play at OT. If he can’t play RT or LT and allow Fuaga to move to RT then we missed.

No way after this pick should Penning be on the edge barring injuries.

Same. We are so slow upfront on defense. I didn’t think he was going to be there at 9. I’m tired of QBs having all day to decide what they want to do with the ball.
