Aaron Rodgers on whether he would sign with the Saints

While fielding questions from the crowd before a concert in Texas, Rodgers was asked by a fan if he'd consider signing with the Saints.

"No," Rodgers replied flatly. He laughed and continued, "That's the answer. No, I’ve played there a couple times. But no. The answer is no. I’m too old, I don’t want to live in Louisiana. Sorry."

Look I get trying to grab a badass QB in the last few years is their career. But an old and very fragile ego like Rodgers. Lol. No thanks. Good grief. The guy is “holding out” for a contender but he’s really hoping for someone that can drive him to the Super Bowl and he can take the wheel at the last second and hope he gets a win.

Lol. No thanks. The only thing worse than a loser is a loser with a big mouth.

Good. And Frick him saying he is too old to work 17-18, however many weeks out of the year. You’re 41. You millionaire crybaby/weirdo. I’m 51 and I go to work everyday just like the rest of us do here in these forums.
I actually would hate for him to come here and do what?

He is nothing more than a sideshow now. Just needs to retire.

The Jets fans shouldn’t have had to deal with this swirling turd either.

He offers nothing. Nothing!

Don't think Danica will take him back, even if he begged.

Rodgers would be a great fit we still had DA and wanted to create more disturbance to get him fired!

Seriously, Rodgers is mostly retired already. I don't think the Steelers thing will work out. He's just hanging on in case a ready-made opportunity emerges with a contender like Baltimore or Detriot due to an unexpected QB injury. I guess I don't blame him. Other QB's in the past like Marino did the same thing.

Lol him saying "sorry" as if any actual Saints fans would want him playing for us is laughable.

I'm excited for the path Kellen has us on. We've waited too long to be excited about the QB position.

I will say this, whilst the team appears to have sent the message that they believe Shough is their guy (by his draft position), I think Spencer is not going to back down from this challenge.

I haven't seen Shough in a huddle yet obviously and Spencer obviously had his struggles, but I think Rattler commands a huddle well and players respond well to him not giving up, even in the toughest moments.

Remember last year, he lit up the Buccaneers and the Commanders, both of those games we should have won.

If this was the AR leaving Green Bay I would probably say (mistakenly based off his Jets tenure) that the Saints go for it and sign him to a couple year deal.

However, seeing the @%$# show that was his Jets career - it's a mutual HARD PASS on you AR.

Take whatever skills you have left at 40 and disappoint a different set of fans.

We have enough QBs in house. We're not winning it all this year with 2010 Tom Brady, so let the guys fight it out in training camp and then do some OTJ training and we may have a winner in a couple years.

I hear your own urine tastes better in cold climates. I have a feeling Rodgers is a conisseur.
