Saints Relocation Plan

10/23

This morning on ESPN they did a quick report on what could happen with the Saints organization. They stated moving to San Antonio as "likely." Moving to Los Angeles was another option. The league did say they would consider New Orleans a Super Bowl site once the city was rebuilt and New Orleans could get an expansion team. Only, getting an expansion team would probably take 10-15 years.

Now, don't take this the wrong way. The didn't say the Saints were going anywhere. They said if the Saints were to move San Antonio would be the most likely spot. (Which we all know.)

I mainly posted this because of the fact that it could take 10-15 years for us to get another team. At first, I was starting to support the Saints moving and us getting a new team. However, I don't think I want to wait until I'm in my 30's for a new team.

What do you guys think now?

RE: Saints Relocation Plan

The show is also based on commentary from those guys so don't read to much into it and its been the same thing debated in the offseason... just the damaged New Orleans has made this more in th open. Saints moving to LA will not happen, period. The NFL doesn't want old blood in LA they want new blood. San Antonio does seem like the more likely spot but even then I don't like the moved with the area already embedded as Dallas Cowboy fans and even Texans.

RE: Saints Relocation Plan

Actually, someone informed me that I may have interpreted incorrectly. I think they may have stated that a move to San Antonio was NOT likely.

The main point of me posting it was because they said that it could take 10-15 years to get another team.

However, I sort-of wish I hadn't posted this. I shouldn't be adding to the "he said...she said," stuff.
