Re: Brees/Bush interested in coaching?
Not sure if it would satisfy, but I could see both breaking in somewhere as position coaches.

Kellen wins the superbowl. Nussmeier takes HC job in Miami and takes Joel Thomas with him. Tolzien becomes OC, Brees, QBs Coach, Reggie RBs coach.
Second superbowl, Kellen promotes Drew to OC, asst HC. |

If Kellen wins the Super Bowl, he could hire back Pete Carmichael for all I care!

Re: Brees/Bush interested in coaching?
I don't think that Brees wants to get in to the grind of a coaches schedule. He enjoys being around his family too much. He spent almost two decades with a rigorous training regime in the NFL. Although, I'm sure he that he stays in shape because that is who he is.
Bush may want to go into coaching though. He's smart and knows how to communicate effectively. Coaching in the NFL is one of the toughest commitments that I can think of. |
