They put Rattler out there with the same lack of weapons that we complained about last year, so why wouldn't it look similar? Cedric Wilson? Dante Pettis? Bub Means? Miller averaging 2.5 yards a carry? No Erik McCoy? We all saw the difference in the team when McCoy is starting and when he's not. You gotta contextualize how you evaluate these preseason games.

Same type of personnel for Shough so far.

He appears to read/execute faster . Let's see with a bigger sample size in the 3rd quarter .

I think Moore needs to just let Shough be the starter. He was willing to take him in the 2nd round. He fits the mold he's looking for. He didn't draft Rattler. Just start your guy. There was no reason to not let Rattler run that two minute drill and rack up those completions and yards while the defense was playing off. Again, you have to contextualize the situations. We often see teams rack up yards in a two minute drill. The defense is trying not to give up the big play.

Valid point... But I had that flashback where he could have scored a TD with Miller in the end zone trailing across.

That missed pass to Austin could have been a TD too.

When watching Shough in college I didn't find him to be particularly accurate.

I'm excited to see this second half. I see the the flashes though. I know what they're hoping for ceiling wise.
