Saints have got to stop wasting draft picks. Even 6 and 7th round picks. Every time Loomis does that we end up with depth problems all over the place.
If we have any left next year. We already traded our 5th and 6th just in the past two weeks

I was wondering about the corresponding cut. Cedrick Wilson?

I'm good with that if it is. Wilson has been a huge disappointment to me.

Re: Saints Cuts

Coach Moore loves "up tempo" on offense ...

Kentwood and LSU product. FAST & shifty. Palmer makes sense.

The Saints have 10 OL currently ... someone will get moved. Maybe even Cooks who didn't show a whole lot in pre season.

Depth piece behind Fuaga.
I may have been wrong on this. He has played G but it looks like they've rotated him at tackle - both sides. Heard Penning is out of his walking boot so could be back week 1. I hope he is.

I do as well but only if there's no chance of making the injury flare up again or get worse.

Re: Saints Cuts

I hope Trey Palmer does well, but I think it says more about the Bucs that it does about us. The Bucs WR group is loaded and it sounds like Egbuka is already emerging. The days of it being Mike Evans and random dudes for the Bucs are long over.

Saints release special teams ace J.T. Gray
In a surprise move, New Orleans released special teams standout J.T. Gray on Monday

Bob Rose
Gray quickly evolved into one of the best special teams contributors in the NFL. He earned 1st Team All-Pro accolades in that role in 2021, pulling in second-team All-Pro recognition in 2019 and 2024. Gray's release opens up a spot on the active roster. The Saints will fill it with either a practice squad elevation or waiver wire pickup before their regular season opener at home against the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday.

The Saints picked up Jerry Rice's son, Brenden, after he was cut by the Chargers.
