I'm not saying AB is the only problem. I'm just saying that given all that there is going on with the Saints this season, having minimal deception to confuse the opposing defense is a significant contributor. This makeshift O-line has the disadvantage of having the opposing defense guess correctly what's coming, and of course they get beat and AB gets hammered.
But the coaches are to blame, not AB. He's doing the best he can under really bad circumstances. Not that he was doing that well in the best of circumstances, but he's actually a bright spot comparatively. |

Pro Bowl Level???? So ya think he's playing better than which of the following NFC QB's (remember 3 go to the Pro Bowl):
98.3 Mark Brunell 93.1 Bret Farve 94.9 Drew Bledsoe 90.8 Mark Bulger 90.3 Donovan McNabb 88.7 Eli Manning At a Passing Rating of 69.5, Brooks is rated 27th out of 32 QBs with 3 games started. He's had two games with a rating over 90 and 2 games with ratings under 50. With the "dummied" down system, his rating has declined rather than improved; he's 10 points less than last year, which was down almost 10 points from the year before. Some of this is coaching, some of this is play calling. Some of this is the system. But he's not playing well in a system designed for his "special abilities." Now, if you had said Toilet Bowl.... |

Brooks isn't the worst, nor the best.
He's average on an average offense. Many reasons for his success, or lack of. He's a talent, for sure. Unfortunately, he hasn't been a good fit. Not sure he's to blame. I'll say this as politely as I can. Get off his ass. 8) |

Get off his ass or what, AB might cry? Better than that turd-eating grin he has on his face every time he screws up.
I'm not going to get off any underperformer making the kind of money he's making until they are consistently playing at an acceptable level. |

A) Never seen a QB with a 69.5 rating said to be playing at a "pro bowl level."
B) How easy it is to forget Brian Scott and Denagelo Hall dropping INTs in the Falcons game, and Travis Fisher doing the same in the Rams game. AB isn't playing any better, he is playing defenders who can't catch. C) If you throw the ball 95 mph in the opposite direction of the way a receiver is running and it glances off is hands as he attempts to defy physics and catch it, then gets intercepted, that does not count as a drop. It counts as a bad pass, which is on the QB. Same as a 95 mph pass over the middle of the field to a receiver not even looking. D) AB sucks, he's always sucked, and he always will suck. Does he ever play a whole game? He used to suck for the first 3 quarters then do something to make everyone forget in some 4th quarters of some games, now you never know which one quarter of good play per game you will get. I'll say this, he has been here long enough that our defense should know this, and should have adapted to that by now. I'll knock them for being late to realize who they have at QB. |

I still don't know how many times we can talk about.........
Does AB SUCK or Is AB a PRO-BOWLER Who gives a crap! This whole team has NO IDEA how to win a football game. That includes everyone on the team. Somebody PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE..... QUIT TALKING ABOUT AB! We need to talk about how to fix this team, and drafting three-five players WILL NOT CHANGE THIS TEAM. |
