RE: So, where we tailgating guys??
There's a huge tailgate down from "the hill" where the band comes down for the LSU games. We sold 150 tickets to fellow blackandgold.net readers as well as clients and friends and family. 87 of those are season ticket packages.
The Adams Investments / Blackandgold.net tent will be just at the bottom of the hill behind the old LSU police station. There will be door prizes and TV's to watch other games. Darryl if you could help out and you know where this is, can you post some maps the tailgate on thread so people will know, it would help a lot. You can use google local or something else, or map it out on mapquest and upload the photos. Thanks. |

Allrighty guys, here is the map of the tailgating area. There should be a very large 30x20 ft tent in place there.

Hey Guys I wish I could go down there and tailgate but can't get off from work. On a sad note my wifes Grandfather passed away down in Houma on Sunday night. Kinda fittin' for what happened to the Saints that day. She would love to come their too but she will be on a plane Saturday night coming back to Charlotte. We went to the Saints-Carolina game on 9/11 and it was good. One guy left after his great defense could not contain our offense as he said "like it should have"!!! Hope we get better luck on Sunday. I hope Haz paid his dues to Referee Retirement Fund.???!!!

Enjoy the tailgate guys, wish I could be there. But I can't - I've moved nearly 1000 miles away.
I'm really - very - bummed I didn't get to meet you all at the BnG Buffalo game. I was looking forward to meeting this sordid cast of black-and-gold-bleeding fanatics. I anticipated a nice verbal showdown between WhoDat and BnB, and a general pandemonious riot sponsored by contentious Sunshiner/Moonshiner factions. I suppose I will just have to keep looking forward to that mysterious magical day. |
