RE: Tom,Tom Tom
I seen one guy at the game wearing a shirt that read
"F (fleur-di-lis fleur-di-lis) K Benson." I thought it was priceless. |
RE: Tom,Tom Tom
I'd like to have that shirt myself. Hell, that should be the team logo.

RE: Tom,Tom Tom
There was another shirt for sale the read, "Buck Fenson." I got a kick out of that. All in all everyone was comepletely supportive. Yes we boo-ed Brooks when he fumbled again and got the safety. But if anyone thinks other teams in the NFL, or college for that matter, never get boo-ed, then you've been smoking something.
And another thing Tom isn't considering. Do you really think if the team was in New York or Chicago that the press would be so nice to this guy and this team? I mean in New York or LA they practically run people out of town in the media. Benson would be served on a platter, and they are doing it for us to be honest. We are probably too nice and that's what makes New Orleans and this region so fun. The people are just nice. |
RE: Tom,Tom Tom
Hey, I'm not nice. Just ask your wife.

These professional athletes are getting paid millions of dollars and they're 0-11 on third down. Thats completely inexcusable. They deserve to be booed. 2) History has proven that winning games is NOT necessary for the state of Louisiana to support the New Orleans Saints. Look at the team's total win/loss record in correlation with attendance and ticket sales records. It's remarkable. Benson would be an idiot to move this team. No other city would support an organization that consistently provides sub-par to mediocre performances each year. We, as fans, are just happy to have a team. Sure, we want to win it all, but we love our Saints. Win or lose. |
